should i buy hades 1 first?

There some talk about the 1, but not that much, you can definitely enjoy it as a first game, though the 1 is pretty good as well, i recommend you play it anyway.

I've not played this game yet ( I'm going to) but Hades 1 is a great game, hands down.

I doubt you need to have played Hades but if you like great games it's worth getting anyway.

Since the game is still in Early Acess and Hades 1 is finished i think its worth starting with hades 1. By the time you finish the game you will know if you like it enough to purchase hades 2, and the development will be further along allowing you to play a better version of the game.

I would recommend to play Hades 1 first. I played the first one and now I really enjoy all the characters who made their comeback. And you'll have a different connections to some story points and gods then.

If you think you'll enjoy the story, play 1 first.

Also 1 is completed and cheaper, so I would play 1 first and if I loved it get 2 afterwards.

Is a diferent story, but at the same time a direct sequel. Hades 1 is for sale now and this one is on EA, so there things that need more time in the oven. I suggest pick the first and enjoy it, then pick this one in some weeks/months.

Since this game is in early access, i can only recommend that fans of supergiant who are interested in continued development purchase it. Since you are curious, i would recommend you buy and play hades 1, which is a completed full game.
