I played in it for 1 hour and understood everything. This game isn’t differ from the first one, because nothing new is presented. I didn’t see new mechanics, that will make me play the game. Just the same game with different 2d assets. The team have done awesome job on the hades 1,but the idea of the 2d roguelike with gods has exhausted itself. And now they are trying to get milk from the dead cow. So awfulthat gaming community are play in the same games nowadays, and rate positive reviews

The game is great actually, and best part, it's not even finished yet. It's gonna be 300% better once it's actually complete.

It's an iterative sequel with very little repeated content from the first game. Maybe even none. They were smart to make another one of these. It just builds on it. --- Maybe next game won't be Hades III though.

Currently, it does feel just like Hades but with new textures and a new color scheme, "green" over "red". It almost feels like a DLC. I realize it's EA they said the 1.0 would be the end of 2024 or early 2025. So, with that, I think they will be adding in more things to differentiate it from Hades, I hope.

And there is nothing wrong with using same concept and even some same mechanics of previous game because that's why we like Hades.

I made ~30 runs in the last few days and I think the game is good so far.
