Engraved Pin and Death Defiance

Am I just not paying close enough attention, or does Engraved Pin popping sometimes use your Death Defiance? I don't think it happens all the time but I definitely think once or twice, DD didn't pop correctly after an Engraved Pin usage. Maybe DD is saving me when EP runs out and I'm just not realizing it.

I can't confirm this, but I think I was getting multiple notifications of "death defied!" while the pin was active (it didn't use my DD, but I was confused why it kept notifying me). Maybe this is related? I'll keep a closer eye on it.

Moros' Pin acts like a DD before the actual DD is triggered. If you fail to clear the room in the time given then your actual DD is triggered if you have one available and if not you will die as normal.

When I had both I died and had my death's defiance trigger at the same time as the Pin. Ended with me dying because I was in the fields of mourning and there were enemies somewhere. Whatever's actually happening I'm assuming it's not working correctly

Yeah this is what I'm pretty sure has happened to me a few times. Maybe there is a bug.

Got this first try: during Hecata fight, had my DD trigger, immediately followed by engraved pin countdown. To add insult to injury, I was turned into a goat for 9 out of 10 of those seconds :)
