yeah bla bla...so the fire made her black and also made her fat ?
Its cause WOKENESS is going around !
Why does it matter now? Why does it matter at all? The characters' skin color doesn't matter in game, so I don't really see why it should matter to me as a player. It's not like there's some historical accuracy that has to be adhered to or respected. These are fictional depictions of fake, mythological figures and places that have been interpreted in a variety of different ways already.
Hera as well. The majority of the characters of this game is black (well if you compared to the first game, which also have grey skins). This is fairly lack of equal representation and very 1-sided. Hestia is very loveable of course (kudos to VA), but I'd love more equal representation here.
Ok first of all egyptians have light skin, they look more like these characters than what you typically think of as african.
second of all, this is a design choice made in an attempt to reduce the politicization of the product. Characters are depicted with inhuman skin colors so that neither side of the political aisle can justifiably complain about representation. If you don't want companies to make decisions like that, then stop contributing to the political division.
Why participate in an english language forum if your skills with the language aren't good enough to communicate with any nuance? The characters are darker this time around because they are primarily in shadow, given the setting -- but they've always had inhuman skin colors, so even discussing that is silly.
The game feels fine to me. Potentially slower (higher HP enemies, I think) but that could change with progress. It feels the same as Hades 1 from both a design and gameplay perspective, but not TOO similar. The cost is also a big feature. It's crazy to me that inflation has gotten so bad over the last 40 years and you can still get a game this deep and this polished for 30 bucks.
