Sister blades are useless.

Fire dot stacks and works pretty good with the staff

It is not bad. It is just not versatile. Each aspect pretty much only works with one particular build, and the aspect with homing special is completely broken when combined with the fire god. If you get the upgrade that causes all the thrown daggers to return to you after hitting the target, you can trigger the on-hit effect 18 times for every SINGLE omega special, and the burn is doubled with ice/fire dual boon. This means you can easily stack up to 2000 burn with a SINGLE omega special, which is completely insane, but it is just bad for every other builds.

Twin blades are tending to depend more heavily on boons and Daedalus hammers IMHO. Can work both with melee and throw. From the boons, attack damage (Aphrodite or Poseidon ones) are a must for me. Also, pick something to restore mana (Chaos boon, Aphrodite or other similar boon for passive or active mana regen).
If u go with Artemis aspect, Daedalus is not as critical for me (50% crit chance for 9 seconds after block is just a huge DPS spike). The only thing I definitely take with me in the beginning - Arcana to slomo while charging attack. Helps a lot.

Put Haephestus explosive damage to alt attack. Charge it, send a fan of blades with 400 damage each - profit. Add one more Haephestus upgrade that burns exploded enemies with steam, charge the fan with 800 damage per blade - double profit. Shotgun someone point blank - feels good. Find the boon that doubles damage when hitting from behind... you got the point. Put Aphrodietea close range attack boost, add some Hestia's fire, stick to a boss back, scratch scratch, scratch with primary attack - I want to put the world on fire. Hammer and sickle ☭ stronk, comrades.

UPDATE: I can swear I saw multiple exlosions for each knife, although the commenter below writes that this is incorrect. Maybe I'm mistaken.

With sisterblades go all in on backstab damage, there are multiple sources for it. Got my first kill of all current final bosses with them, love the weapon my self. Also dodge is crazy good.

It's the same way when you omega special with skull, every hit on the same dash does 400. :)

eh.. they can work. the special upgrades on the hammer can make them a hilariously broken ranged weapon? with Aspect of pan, i had 16 daggers shoot in every direction when i hit special, then they came back to me afterward. and with aspect of pan, anything in my spell became a magnet and pulled all the daggers to them. then they came back hitting both ways. chronos MELTED. so they can definitely be made to work. (ive also had successful runs meleeing with them, not just magically turning them into ranged)

It doesn't. Just tried.

On the matter at hand, aspect of Pan fixes every problem this weapon could have. Daedalus has a lot of great upgrades for the special, get a good boon for it and you'll melt down bosses from a safe distance.

I also thought it was bad until I saw it applies debuff at an alarmingly high rate with the attacks and the ridiculously strong omega special buffs from daedalus hammer.

It "spreads" to nearby enemies. But proc is just one attack, not multiple ones

It creates a blast in the area, and you'll hear the hammering sound for each enemy that got caught in there.

In my case I had 2 enemies that were close to me and other 2 that were behind, but still in range of the fully charged special's rightmost knives. I hit the first two which triggered the blast, but the other enemies just got hit by a normal special attack.

Absolutely not. Had my most OP build today with the Sister Blades.

Started with Sister Blades (Aspect of Pan level 5 (5 extra blades)).

1. Boon 1 : Hammer - Hook Knives to add backstab, but most of all to add piercing to special.
2. Boon 2: Aphrodite flourish on special to add damage at close range.
3. Later added the Hammer to get multiplier bonus on backstab
4. Pulled duo boon "Island Paradise" to get closeup bonus damage from any range.
Bonus: Added Earth elemental bonus to cap damage received at 15.

I was not only able to snipe single targets from offscreen, but able to melt enemy crowds and bosses with just my special. Best moment was tanking Chronos time stop instakill move for only 15 damage so I could charge up a full omega special at point blank for about 4.5k damage
