you "enjoyed" Hades one and you are gonna go and say they made the characters ugly ? are you blind or what ? the artstyle stayed the same. And if you pull up the characters side by side they all look the same or some even "hotter" go rant in your "sweet baby inc detected" group and stop spreading ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ here
But people are so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous. Here is a comparison of some of the gods.
https://gamerant.com/best-god-design-changes-in-hades-2-technical-playtest/
Aphrodite is still sexy, the difference is her pose was flirty in the first, and more "regal" in the second.
Still looks "godly" to me, don't see any overt "wokeness."
Artemis is still sexy, but I do prefer her old look more then her new look. Here old look gives more of a "hunter" feel. Her new one feels generic.
Still looks "godly" to me, don't see any overt "wokeness."
Zeus, still sexy. But I definitely preferred his old pose more then his new pose. The use of shading and the closer body just felt more "godly" then the new pose.
Still looks "godly" to me, don't see any overt "wokeness."
Poseidon, still sexy. His new look is superior to his old look 100% as far as I am concerned.
Demeter, still powerful old women. I like the pose much better in the new version. But i prefer the blues and accessories of the old version...
Still looks "godly" to me, don't see any overt "wokeness."
Hermes, still sexy. The old design better represented that he was the god of travel and the messenger of the gods. While I don't hate the new design, it makes him feel like he isn't moving much.
Still looks "godly" to me, don't see any overt "wokeness."
As for chaos, while I prefer the old look, the new look absolutely makes sense from a lore point of view given what chaos is trying to do. It also still very chaotic and weird.
Now as for Hestia and Hephaestus --
I actually like their designs a lot, but this is the ONE thing I can see that might actually be "woke."
That said, the quality of the game, and the fact that I really like their designs means that they don't actually bother me like Last of Us 2 and the eternals...
Hades 2 is no more "woke" then Hades 1 was...
So what exactly is the issue here beyond a bunch of babies that see "wokeness" in anything and everything.
They don't conform to one specific look. They can choose how they want to appear. There's nothing crazy about that, tbh.
It's like wild when you find a few who are not only toxic; but just target games you know they won't like with overwhelming negative or mixed. it's pretty messed up subculture imo.
Really though, the previous one had a certain balance between inclusivity and normality, while this one wandered too deep into some ***♥♥♥♥.
❄️🤮
but that's the issue with using a 2 sided word to act as a sense of freedom.
Woke; to wake up, everyone does.
Freedom everyone wants.
Oppression no one wants.
Challenge everyone needs.
Free will Everyone should have.
Woke is just a 4 chan word now that people have their freedom and representation.
If I had to guess, the trolls are afraid they will soon run out of hate so they create new centers of symbolic double sided hate.
And the Special people who want to be something will be ..
Normal
and bored
and average
and bland
The reality is diversity to a degree is fine.
In art that's called selective variety, as long as people are not being gay bashed or segregated outside of a historical or story (inside universe) significant message aka for world-building ONLY..
I don't see anyone really being oppressed by not being mentioned.
I find people who force their narrative into every story just means they better have a damn good story, great dialogue, and universe fitting non-political mess.
Or, at the least not be a character built on being a unwanted 4th wall antagonist while trying to be a protagonist.
Simple as character development vs ad's
People need to keep their political ideologies and agendas out of our media; and save those SBI injections for Art Based Political only Genres.
All shallow no substance.
If you want art and media that reinforces your flattened view of the world, you can find it. When you try to control what other people do with their creativity, you just show how fragile and controlling you are.
