Except if there is a recipe to use more tools at once, the tool system feels bad...
I can understand this kind of system IF there wasnt a dj crawler but this is Hades II.
It's more a lucky choice than a choice...
From a subtractive design perspective, they shouldn't even spawn in the nodes for the tool you didn't pick. All that does is saddle the mechanic with unnecessary stress and fomo. Might seem innocuous, but it adds to the sensation of 'buden' in systems like this.
i hope they add a way from early game to carry more tools simultaneously as another way of progression
the basic design idea of making us choose what we wanna prioritize is good, and works well with all the different resources we need, but not being able to use the nodes at all (thus massively reducing your influx of for example silver, at least as early into the game as I am), especially with the tease of still seeing them, is just needlessly torturing players
