Chaos Legendary Boon

i've been searching all through youtube, the Hades sub-reddit and I can't find anything about it.
I remember having a hard time getting it in Hades I too, but I'm rapidly aproaching the 100 hour mark and there isn't a sign about it. At least in the first one you could use the Chaos keepsake to help you get more oportunities to get it.
Has anyone even seen it or is it something that isn't available just yet maybe? Any tips on how to get it? Any feedback would be appreciated

i do not know how to make it appear, but i have seen it. sadly i didn't take it. it's a death defiance. but i was given the opportunity for a 90% cast damage buff, so i went with that sicne i was going for a cast build. sorry i can't be more help.

i can say his legendary CURSE sucks. be super duper careful if you get it, cuz that curse is so horrible. nukes your arcana for a few fights. really changes the game for a bit,.

edit: i also started teh night with his keepsake, i always do, but i swap it once i end a zone with a boon i like, it's possible i still had his keepsake when i got the legendary, but i can't say for sure since it was pretty late into the run

I've gotten it, no idea how to make it more likely to appear

You have to have lost a DD for it to be offered. Same with Narcissus' gift and Hermes' legendary that also give a DD. And same thing with Narcissus' gift that gives re-roll dice, you have to first have some dice and spend it.

Those drove me crazy until I realized that. Then I got them all in 2 runs by losing a DD on purpose at the beginning...

thanks for the help, i knew it was a death defiance just like in the first game, but I wasn't sure if it existed at all because I couldn't find a single screenshot of it being in Hades II
That was what I was doing exactly, using his keepsake and losing a death defiance before meeting Chaos... guess I will have to keep trying then, nothing else I can do.

i got the chaos legendary without having a missing dd - it is like hermes's legendary and doesn't need one missing. however it was ages ago so idk how i got it and i've never seen it again sorry :(

no that's definitely not true for this one. it may be true for the others but it has a separate icon and you can have all DD when you get it

Like the people before me have said: You DO NOT need to lose a DD to get it. You don't need his keepsake equipped to get it.

I suppose you just...need to keep trying. I had his Defiance offered when the gate was opened in Mourning Fields, so maybe a latter and more difficult biome increased my chance?

Edit: I did get more than one Chaos's boon this night, so perhaps this thinned the reward pool by a little bit?

I suppose you just...need to keep trying. I had his Defiance offered when the gate was opened in Mourning Fields, so maybe a latter and more difficult biome increased my chance?

Edit: I did get more than one Chaos's boon this night, so perhaps this thinned the reward pool by a little bit?

I suspect the requirements for it are that you have to already have a Chaos boon for it to show up, thus the embyro making it more common (though it could simply just be a very rare offering)

I was actually chasing this one for a couple of days, I'm pretty sure you don't need to lose a dd but you must have at least another Chaos boon before you get offered this one, just using Chaos keepsake won't work, I tried a couple times and never got the legendary boon in the first offering. After many runs trying to get it I gave up and then the next day got it on my first run, it was in Oceanus.

You guys might be up to something, that having already visited Chaos once might really be the key here (which is also what's required in Hades I) despite the requirement section in the codex being empty.

I remembered entering Chaos gate in the very first room in Erebus with Chaos's keepsake equipped some nights ago, but not getting his legendary to show even after 4 consecutive rerolls. When this happened I gave up on that run and restarted so I could essentially retry the entire process considering that the Chaos gate would still be there in the first room.

However, I still couldn't get his legendary to show up after I think at least 5 restarts in the same night. And after trying this for several more nights with a similar start, I thought to myself that there has to be something I am not doing right.

If having a Chaos's boon really is a requirement and using Chaos's keepsake doesn't count, perhaps it means that the requirement is his curse and not his blessing, as there's no other way to receive Chaos' temporary debuff other than visiting him.
