the pigs that she is happily talking to, and Melinoe talks to a bit, are humans that she has turned into animals just for her own amusement
IMHO, I feel the characters are a bit less inspired this time around even if some design are awesome.
Now that someone else said it first, yeah I can back this up.
Personally Odysseus could be absent and nothing would be lost, and Melinoë talking to Echo is jarring when the gimmick grows old.
But it is what it is, though I do like Heracles and Icarus enough to counteract some of the other characters.
But then, you learn the story of hoy Orpheus failed her, you make them happy again and they sing WONDERFULLY when you take Persephone home.
Maybe Circe doesn't make sense now. I will wait for the art to be complete as well as the story. Then i will decide if it's something i like or not
