Definitely go try out Hades 1 first and finish the story, it will be a good basis for 2 since you know what has been taken away from Melinoë, and beating the current underworld final boss teases you hard with context from Hades 1
What do you mean by trickier and complicated ? I find Hades 2 massively easier than Hades 1. I already have chronos on farm before hitting the 20 run mark.
That might not be what you mean, though.
Like, in Hades 1, I think any player could clear the game after 3-4 runs if they're able to buy two Death Defiances and various cheapo bonuses from the Mirror of Night. But it takes longer to get that equivalent power through Arcana.
*However, high-Fear is much harder than high-Heat. Excluding Aspect of Momus, of course. But I assume that'll change in the future once we get equivalents for Extreme Measures, Benefits Package, etc).
Thanks for the clarification. It's a good sign that high fear is harder.
The real answer is BOTH OF THEM.
