Performance Issues
Game seems to maintain full 80 fps if I cap it there, but there is this constant "hitch" when moving forward. Changing graphical settings literally makes ZERO difference, as my fps is seemingly maintaining at whatever I cap it to. If I walk forward or enter a new room or turn basically, the game hitches for a split second like some kind of lag. Driving me nuts. I have tried both dx 11 and 12. My computer far exceeds recommended specs and I run every other game fine.

EDIT: I am now getting dips from 80 fps down to 30, and even 20. It doesnt matter what settings I have on. It can be all low and I still experience this issue. This is ridiculous. 60 dollars for this? lol. This is a game breaking experience. Even if I cap my fps to 60 and put everything on low, I still get these random dips to 20 fps. Pretty much every map except the gas station, but it can even happen there. For reference, I have a 3060 ti ryzen 5 2600 x and 32 gb ram. I understand my computer isnt high end, but its good enough to be able to run this game at some kind of consistent frame rate. I run cyberpunk clean as hell, as well as all my other games and VR as well. I know I could upgrade my cpu, but again, I should be able to cap it at 50 or 60 and maintain that without dipping to 20 fps ever

UPDATE: I fixed it.

The main offender here might be DX12. Now that I'm exclusively using DX12, it has totally eliminated those dips down to 20 or 30 fps and I haven't gone below like 56. I tested out the main map that was giving me an issue previously (Talent Agency), and it is now fine. I still get tiny hitches on some maps though, such as the meth map. Overall though, this seemed to have worked.

V sync OFF
Medium everything except high for anti aliasing
2560 x 1440
Limit frames to 65

UPDATE AGAIN: GAME IS CONSTANTLY HITCHING!!!!!!! EVEN WITH THE FPS STAYING STEAY AT 65 IT IS CONSTANTLY FREEZING FOR A SPLIT SECOND AS I TRY TO MOVE FORWARD!!!!! THIS IS TOTALLY *****ING UNACCEPTABLE

ANOTHER UPDATE:

Uncapped frame rate
dlss off
fsr off
Medium settings except for antialiasing, which is on high
2560 x 1440
DX12
V sync off

Getting 80 to 115 fps without any form of stutter now. Weird. IDK what even changed. Gas station gives me really high performance, averaging over 100. It DOES fluctuate at times, but no longer in a way where it's noticed and stays high. At first, my game was dipping to 20 fps in these SAME areas. Other maps also run fine now.

It's shader compilation and how the game streams its assets. It still hasn't been fixed in the hotfix, and after a year of EA. Check your GPU and CPU utilization, if you feel like it's not being used optimally, put on launch options -high. It should help.

Turn FSR and DLSS off if that's also enabled as it tends to somehow increase the stuttering.

If that's the case, and you have A LOT of vram, then you could just use the launch command "-NOTEXTURESTREAMING"

This is what solved the problem for me:

1. Navigate to the Ready Or Not steam game folder by right clicking the game and going to properties -> installed files -> browse

2. Then, go to the Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Binaries\Win64 folder

3. Run the game directly from the ReadyOrNot-Win64-Shipping.exe file

The game should now be running perfectly fine, as it is for me now. Went from 20 FPS with less than 50% CPU and GPU usage on lowest settings, to over 120 FPS with all graphics on epic.
I have no clue what's causing the problem nor why this works, but I'll just keep opening the game this way untill it's fixed.
