Why doesn't RON just team up with nexus mods?

I don't think Nexus Mods has in-game integration, or at least I have never heard a game with that, so I don't think they have the software required to do that. As nice as Nexus can be, their own mod launcher also has issues.

I've heard more about Vortex not working for RoN than I have seen people say it does. Though there is nothing stopping you from downloading from nexus, besides them speed capping you.

I don`t see the utility of a game-integrated mod service like Mod.Io unless the mods are downloaded automatically when you join a session that needs it (like Arma). Honestly, I had nothing but trouble with Mod.io and zero issues dragging and dropping paks manually with Nexus.

or you just use nexus like in any other game. I dont see why the devs need to be involved.
