how to fully remove mods?

New update is telling me that I have mods installed ( I dont ) . I did a while back but this is a fresh instal. I have already verified cache but it did nothing.

Browse the game files by going into 'Installed files'. You do this clicking on the game in your library and opening the cogwheel on the right side of the screen to go to the games' properties. Then delete the mod.io folder in Ready or Not < Content < Paks. Just open the game as usual after that

i am having problems with getting rid of the mods i have un subbed to them all but my game still saying its the modded version and i cannot seem to go back to original game version as its restricting me from getting on scoreboard as its saying i am running mods but i am not running any mods now ? how can i fix this as i would like to try to go for high scores on the leader boards (note) i have done all methods above but still telling me the games a modded version ?

and log out of your mod.io. You can also go into settings and scroll all the way at the bottom to delete your mods and log out of your mod.io. do those and delete the mod.io folder

Besides doing the official method, there might be still traces of custom files...

As an alternate method deleting EVERY file (by exploring every folder from RoNs directory) with a different date or prior to the 13th....

It removed the modded watermark afterwards..
