Please remove all mods from the ingame menu which don't support the latest version
See title.
Currently, almost 95% of all mods break the game.
80% of all mods are created / updated over a year ago, i.e. they have been abandoned.

Simple fix: Please remove all mods that have not been updated in a long time.

I totally agree. It's a ridiculously simple method of setting a date. All mods updated before it get hidden. Done.
A few people have already barked up that tree quite a while ago.
I don't believe it's a good idea to remove mods entirely if they are outdated, some people do downgrade to play older game versions, and it would only harm them to completely remove mods. I don't see any harm in changing the system to allow you to filter by upload vers, but I have a feeling that'd break mods again, so we'll have to see.
I know, there are probably better solutions, like:
Requiring all mod creators to specify an "tested and working with game version" string and include an ingame filter that only shows mods where this is equal to your game version.
In a perfect world, that's how it would already be...

But what we need right now is a quick and simple fix for the absolute mess the ingame mod menu is in.

And I personally think that harming those 0.x% who downgrade (which isn't even supported by the steam client for this game at all) is better than the current situation where everyone on the latest version has to deal with this trial and error mess.

just hide old mods. Because the mod browser is built ingame, older versions will automatically show all mods, as per each version.
There's no danger of older versions being left out of mods.
