Getting "corrupted" error for mods

I download the mods straight from RON, when it restarts it just gives me the error message of corrupted, need to verify files. so i verify files and i get the same error. I have uninstalled and reinsalled the game twice. If i delete all the mods the game is fine. is there a fix for this?

sooo, im getting this message but have never had mods on ANY game. i deleted ALL data including save data attached to the files, reinstalled 2x, i still get the error message. i used to play all the time, now it wont even start

Same issue here. Is it that the mods are not compatible with UE 5? Is there any way to de-list the outdated, incompatible mods so ppl won't download them and crash their game at launch? Mod support is seemingly an afterthought with this game now, which is severely disappointing, given the replayability and extra features/improvements mods provide.
