It is as ethical as other modding is. Which is to say no one really cares and the game won't ban you

alr and does the mod browser work now + would customization unlock mods work in servers that aren't mine

The server browser works and lets you join lobbies, but adding mods makes it that you cannot join vanilla lobbies that don't allow mods.

I would imagine the customization mod would work fine and everyone could see it. But I haven't personally tested or seen it

Pretty sure I saw some posts about that unlock mod unlocking everything permanently, even after removed. So theoretically you could use it, open the game to verify, close the game, uninstall the mod and join whatever lobby with all unlocks if that's what you wanted.

Then again, the rumors could be wrong.

Whose ethics are we talking about here? Don't know you, so I can't speak for you, but for me, no issues whatsoever. Single player, so who cares?

"Ethical"? It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ video game, it's nowhere near that serious.

You shouldn't be asking yourself "is it ethical?" You should be asking yourself "can my ego handle this?" Because that's really all it comes down to.

I mean.. as long as you're fine with it, I don't see why not.
I had unlocked everything with exception of the last watch... and then I tried to run some modded maps. They crashed my game so hard that it restarted my computer every time I tried to play them. It also messed up my multiplayer game save so I was like ah screw it... and just installed this customization unlock mod.
Singleplayer is a separate save file and that seemed to be unaffected.
