G36c carry handle mod doesn't work anymore.

Hey guys, i can't express enough how much i despise the G36 without carry handle, i will never understand that the guy that modelled it, can actually stand behind that atrocity and defend it (like at least make it optional to attach it, without having to download a mod) ... anyway i normally used the carry handle mod in the past but it doesn't seem to work anymore.. does anybody know of a fix or another mod so that i can use my favourite weapon again?

Anything that's not a map does not work over mod.io. you have to download and install them manually. But anyway. 99% certain that almost all mods will break either way on release.

The guy that modeled it, modeled it after real gun parts. It's a KAC rail system for the G36, and I actually prefer it having actually shot a G36 before. I don't need the entire top rail, and the carry handle bit is pretty much useless as a carry handle when the entire rest of the gun can be held onto. Also makes accessing the charging handle more difficult, especially with gloves on.
I get preference, but for function the KAC rail is better. More solid too.

I understand dude, but idgaf about real life functionality, having the top rail Is iconic and it looks goofy as hell without it... It like having the famas without the top part, or a p90 without the rail part.. Just takes away the soul

P90 without the rail is actually the classic one. Has the built in donut sight, backup sights on the side, and no rail. FAMAS without the top part is the Felin model and it's more functional too so I'd also prefer it.
The AUG ingame isn't even an actual AUG it's a modified version called the F90. This game is based on real stuff after all, function first.
