and delete it.
I'm sure that feature will be automatic in the near future.
How about instead you actually do your game justice, as well as your community and integrate it properly?
I did all the things you mentioned, it didn't change anything, it made it worse because my friend who did the same got an error and dc'd from me so we can't play with each other. We've both uninstalled the game, I've deleted the mod.io folder. I'll reinstall it tomorrow or something, and hope to god it works.
I hope you give us an option to straight up disable mod.io support because well I don't want to say they told you so, but pretty sure most the modding community of fps games warned you against mod.io and now I see why.
This has made me want to stay extremely far away from anything modded for ready or not, I have nothing but a bad impression of mod.io from this and won't buy a game in future that uses it as a mod platform.
I've used steam workshop for years and never had issues like this with other games.
It's wild, like absolutely wild, that you'd think that people should need to take extra steps to manually uninstall a mod, especially something so basic as a modified weapon skin/etc
I'm just a Moderator, I have no impact directly on development. Ensure that you unsubbed from the mod on the Mod.io page but also double check that the mod is deleted in both directories above, then try verifying your game files
I'm not sure which error your friend got, if it was mod missmatch, then disable "serverside checksum" in game settings, very first page at the bottom. I would remind users that the feature is very early into implimentation and will be improved in the future, but as for disabling it, the option would likely be just not to use it
