Aim Assist (Free aim with controller is a nightmare)
I know this is likely a controversial thing to request, but the game is very difficult, and playing on Controller with free aiming is almost impossible.

Is it possible to implement some kind of assisted aim / lock on when the "cursor" is close to a suspect and the "aim" button is pressed, similar to games like GTA or RDR?

Aiming at a suspect manually with free aim using a controller, when such quick reactions are needed, makes to game incredibly frustrating. I'm sure with a mouse it's a different story, but with a controller I think something like this would help make the game much more playable.

From what I've seen it doesn't seem like official controller support is coming anytime soon. In the mean time I'd recommend a good gaming mouse (lg 305 is $30ish in North America) and a large mouse mat to accommodate a low sensitivity.

Thanks, but not everyone can (or wants to) sit at a desk and play with a mouse. My understanding is that controller support is coming, so I would hope that this will be implemented. I appreciate that "hardcore" keyboard and mouse gamers might think it's an offensive idea, but also, not everyone is a "hardcore" fps gamer like that, and this game is really really tricky when to comes to quick reactions. It's almost impossible with a controller, as things stand right now.

No that's understandable, I'm just pointing out unless you can find a mod, Void is probably not going to address controller support anytime soon. Like near the end of development would be my guess.

But if you've got to scratch that itch, the way I went from controller to m&kb was with low sensitivity and a large mouse mat

Ok, thanks.

Hey man did you ever find a solution? I just started playing the game and was having the same problems. While I didn’t find the perfect solution like aim assist, I did find a temporary solution that does make the game a little bit more playable with controller.

The problem I was having was high free look sensitivity meant way to high ADS sensitivity and low ADS sensitivity meant way to low free look sensitivity.

I tried and tried to change sensitivity for free look and ADS but could not. Well… I just found a way to do that. Whenever you map your controller input in steam you can have your default right joystick sensitivity set to something. You can also have a second sensitivity set when you are moving the joystick and holding down another button (for example: when I move the joystick my sensitivity is 200, but when I hold down left trigger and ADS my sensitivity changes to 75)

This made the game controller playable for me. Hope it can do the same for you!
