the official maps don't have these attributes. I used a very helpful mod named "PostFX" to fix the problems. its very easily fixed by changing some color correction. I am guessing that people are copying each others post fx settings and each map now has this darkness. Eitherway thank you for the answer.
I think people are so used to well lit games, although they have flashlight and NV they still complain.
Please people, just try...
Obviously: Shade your gaming room, (play in the dark) so you can see better all pixels on your screen.
A thing I think should be implemented: is a slight delayed adjustment to the light/brightness.
Like real life: if you step from a bright lit space to a very dark space, your eyes need a little time to adjust and vis-versa.
Thank you for the answer. Though I feel like you didn't get the point. The shadows of daylight maps are so deep on the outside its completely unrealistic and immersion breaking. I would even guess that most people run around with NVG but I am honest I also want to enjoy the awesome lighting the devs worked on.
So if it's not working great now, it's probably cuz they spent enough time on it to work generally. they need to tweak each of them light probes and shaders ?!
it's kind of a hard job but it's needed indeed.
I wonder if you choose no face goggles maybe then you have a clearer view.
Like the gas mask is reducing visibily the most.
