Is it possible to get achievements in Multiplayer?

I don't know if it's a bug or intended, but I recently cleared some missions with my mates on S rank and expected to get progress on the all S ranks achievement, but it stayed at 0. I assume it has something to do with it being in this practice mode, so is there a way to get achievements when playing with friends?

Achievements are somewhat inconsistently granted when not playing Commander mode. Expect to have to play through that solo to unlock everything.

Is this a known issue, which they might publish a fix for? I don't like the single player because the bot handling feels really janky to me.

Haven't checked, but at least you still get the cosmetics unlocked from MP. Some achievements unlock/progress, but not consistently. I recall seeing some of the "complete maps XYZ with C+" achievements progressing randomly in MP, but only like 5% of the time.

The achievement that counts S ranks on all missions does not seem to progress at all in MP though.

Except for the 'arrest your first suspect or civilian' achievement, I haven't seen a single achievement progress in multiplayer, ever. If they haven't fixed it in the latest hotfix it may be intended, but I'm not sure.

This is my experience as well. Stuck at like 1/15 achievements despite tons of completed missions in MP

All achievements should be obtainable online. This includes the DLC ones even if you don't own them.
The only achievements that are singleplayer exclusive are The Devil, The World and The Hermit

are you sure? was this patched?
up until a couple of months ago, all achievements were only unlockable in singleplayer mode
