How to carry more ammo for stinger launcher?

It's the most effective tool, I've found.

I carry stinger grenades, but apparently you can't load them into the launcher.

I think you only get 3 launcher rounds? I dunno, because when I hold R to check it doesn't tell me a number, but I think it's 3. Carrying more stinger grenades does NOT seems to give you more ammo.

How do you carry more?

You don't. You get a limited number of 40mm grenades for your launcher. 4 in total, 1 in the tube with 3 extra. A regular grenade would not be compatible with a 40mm launcher.
