Is S rank near impossible now?

As it seems like you can do missions perfectly with no casualties and still just get an A+

Edit with some minor data:
Margins are stupidly tight
For example on A lethal Obsession:

1575 is A+
So guessing around 1600+ is S rank because
1655 is S
1680 is S (obviously) highest I have gotten on that mission so far

To my knowledge, maps also have soft objectives you have to find and complete. For example, Streamer has 3 soft objectives, one of them being the farms.

I noticed this too. My suspicion was that maybe it takes into account the time to complete the level? Or maybe you have to arrest, not kill everyone? I never could get a feel for what it wanted.

For S rank you have to use non-lethal force and arrest all suspects.

It took a bunch of us 7hr last night doing a full non-lethal run for S rank on Valley of Dolls. Finally got the Hawiian teeshirt but its kinda bugged (you can equip it but there's still a lock over the shirt in armory)

I'd done S rank on that map a few times before, without too much effort, in the pre-1.0 version. Yeah- it's gotten way tougher

I have problems with the "streamer" level. I have completed the level by arresting everyone with the gas team (gas ball weapons) But I always get A+ despite collecting the 3 tests and going directly to the lobby.

I think this mission is bugged so I can't unlock the S rank content of the game

PS: I play in iron mode

Non-lethal + All objectives/Soft objectives + No Friendly Fire (including flashing squad mates)

Best bet is to take Pacifiers and Negotiators, Get gas masks and go ham on smoke and pepper balls for the crew.
People usually throw down weapons instantly with this combination.

There are 3 hidden objectives for evidence you must collect

2nd floor server rooms, the servers are illegal
'pictures' in the drawer next to the streamer's bed
the HDD next to the streamer's computer setup

Equip full less lethal. Mixed with long and short range (the pepperball for long and LL shotgun for close range)
Equip your roster with less lethal traits and shouting trait which makes them more likely to surrender.

It is possible just difficult. I've noticed the 4 S ranks I got I was able to secure all soft objectives and no enemy fatalities. Almost had a S rank on twisted nerve today but of course a random stray bullet from a suspect, clips one of the arrested suspects in the house LOL fml......

It's kinda stupid. I managed to secure all evidence, no lethal, all soft objectives and still got A+ for some reason.

The fact than you can't see the scoreboard while playing doesn't help at all. You don't know if you have everything packed up for S.

I feel you, I have done Brixley Talent Show multiple times, getting no damage, arresting everyone and securing all evidence and yet I cannot get a S.

I feel you man, before the update I had S on almost all the maps, and now after doing the gas station mission, I do everything right, all the suspects survive and I report literally everything to the point where the game auto completes the mission, and I get A+, did everything literally the same as before the update so I don't know what the deal is...
