Test the [FPS Fix]
Introduction
Greetings! I want to share a method that helped me boost my FPS in "Ready or Not". Maybe it can help some of you too!

In-Game Settings Adjustments
  • Open Steam and navigate to your library.
  • Right-click on "Ready or Not" and select "Properties".
  • Go to the "Local Files" section.

Disable Full-Screen Optimization
[Note:] On modern Windows systems, especially Windows 11, it's generally advised to keep Full-Screen Optimizations enabled as it has improved over the years. Disabling it might not have a significant impact, particularly when using DirectX 12, where it's forced on. However, if you're experiencing issues, you can try disabling it to see if it makes a difference.
  • Navigate to the folder path of "Ready or Not" -> "Binaries" -> "Win64".
  • Right-click on "ReadyOrNot-Win64-Shipping.exe".
  • Choose "Properties" and then the "Compatibility" tab.
  • Check the box for "Disable full-screen optimizations".
  • Click "Apply".

Activate Hardware Acceleration in Windows
  • Copy the path of "ReadyOrNot-Win64-Shipping.exe".
  • Go to Windows settings and activate hardware acceleration.
  • Add the copied path and select "High Performance" when "Ready or Not" is listed.

Adjust the Folder Path
  • Return to the drive path of "Ready or Not" -> "Binaries" -> "Win64".

Configure Exploit Protection in Windows
  • Open "Exploit Protection" in Windows settings.
  • In "Program settings", add the path of "Ready or Not -> Binaries -> Win64" and the "ReadyOrNot-Win64-Shipping.exe" file.
  • Check the box for "Control Flow Guard" under "Override System Settings" and deactivate the option below it.

Additional Tips
  • If you have the Windows Game Bar enabled, consider disabling it.
  • Ensure your Windows power options are set to the highest performance.

Try these steps and share your experiences! Hopefully, this helps you achieve better performance

That's not even the right executable for the game.
> Once you open the Ready Or Not folder from the Local directory, you need to open the folder named "ReadyOrNot", then "Binaries", then "Win64", and finally right click "ReadyOrNot-Win64-Shipping.exe" and click on Properties.

Yeah and I don't see why i should have to change my computer's functionality for one game.

What I'm saying is right clicking on ReadyOrNot.exe and editing compatibility in properties doesn't do anything. That executable essentially serves as a shortcut that then opens ReadyOrNot-Win64-Shipping.exe

Settings in the Start menu--> System-->Display-->Graphics Settings all the way at the bottom of the page.

You shouldn't disable Full-Screen Optimization anymore, really. Used to be terrible years ago, but that hasn't been the case for a while. Especially if you're on windows 11. Keep it on.

Plus, if you're using DX12, disabling FSO doesn't do anything. It's forced on.
