anyways
just play it on m&k
this game will play horribly on controller unless they put an absolute ton of effort
it has a ton of controls
Oh, so you mean tactical shooters can't be converted to game consoles, funny that it's planned for this game though. Besides, the developers have even promised official controller support for the beta. The vast majority of games nowadays also offer official controller support, including games that are unusual for controllers such as Diablo IV, Baldur's Gate 3, Elite Dangerous, Hunt: Showdown, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six, Battlefield 2042 etc. etc. Feel free to use M&K and let other people play the way they prefer!!!
proceeds to name 4 games that older games in the series had controller support
seems legit
and
even then
what mentally insane person would want to play hunt or elite dangerous on a controller
if siege already plays like ♥♥♥♥ on controller than there's on chance ready or not will play good
if controller support is a requirement for you buy a console
M&k is the standard control scheme for pc games
and the game was on sale
it's called the early access price
it was that price for quite a long time
with the console release, which is a thing
1.0 doesn't mean the game is done with development
That you have to answer with insults only shows your mental level...But maybe you understand it anyway, playing with a controller offers various advantages, it allows much more relaxed playing because you don't have to tense up on keyboard and mouse, you can control the running speed analogously, which feels much more natural with a joystick than with WASD, it also feels more real to pull a trigger than to press a mouse button, etc. Name me four recent AAA games that don't have controller support, it's just ridiculous! Play how you want with your great M&K controls and let others play how they want.
also
ready or not isn't a triple a game
let me know how aiming feels without a program doing half the work for you
all of the benifits that controller offers can be done with a m&K
if you're tensing up on a keyboard than you're doing something wrong
shooters with complex control schemes like this, squad, ground branch, or even games like eft are just blatantly not able to play well on controller
they require a ton of work just to make controllers feel decent to use because of the huge drawbacks
it's an unreal engine game
it can be modded in later
there's no point in having it now
when maybe 15 people actually want it
A mentally insane person is not an insult to you. . . that gives a deep insight. . .
That Ready Or Not is not an AAA game I know myself. However, the developers have already promised an official controller support for the beta, then you can expect it at the latest with the release version. Whether this means a relatively large effort is actually completely indifferent to me, because I just prefer it. How do you come up with 15 people? Something quickly guessed yes? You forget all Steam Deck users, disabled people, but you probably don't care about them either, right? I don't do anything wrong with the keyboard, it is only logical that it is not so comfortable to have to keep your hand/fingers on the WASD keys all the time. Then tell me how you get an analog control with the keys (digital) of the keyboard, logical complete nonsense! And is your mouse button a trigger, I don’t think so. But you can play with your beloved M&K anytime you like, what is your problem to accept that some people prefer a controller, is that so hard to comprehend?
You just have to configure the controls yourself
And there are mice for disabled people with a stick and keys all on one mouse
You're welcome
There's a lot of different types of mice on the market
Not my fault you don't look for them
A trigger has no advantage to a controller
Actually quite the opposite
A mouse is faster to target and fire since it has less travel time and better ability for you to aim since it uses all of the muscles in your hand and wrist
The only benefit controllers have is for racing and 3rd person action games (DMC, nier, mgr, soulsborne, etc)
And I'm sorry to tell you
Plans change in development
Like how ready or not was originally supposed to have pvp multiplayer
But it got scrapped because it was trash
Probably did the same thing with your precious controller support
Or they might just be still trying to figure out how to make it work
Siege doesn't even have 2/3rds of the amount of controls that ready or not has yet that had to have options cut out to make it work
Sorry that you don't have controller support
You'll either have to deal with it or play something else
I agree with you that controlling with the mouse is more direct and faster and that is also true for triggering with the mouse button, but what you don't understand is that it's not about efficiency but about the feel of the control and the analog (no counterargument found?😊) movement control is an important part of it. Of course development plans change all the time, I just feel it's sad that it didn't work out to implement it.
The only benefit controllers have is for racing and 3rd person action games? You forgot jump and run games at least. But your stated benefit is only in efficiency, but that is only one part of gaming. The feel of the control is as important for me. I hope you can understand that and I thank you for being sorry that there is no controller support for me.
Yes, I have hundreds of other games, but I still feel sad when I can't play this game the way I want, because I was a great fan of SWAT4. In any case, have fun with the game and your precious and precise M&K control 😊 Greetings
Do you mean platformers?
Tbh that can go either way
I will give that I forgot fighting games as well
Those are much easier on controller
At least for me
I do hope they add it eventually
I hope they focus on more important things for now though
A lot of people are complaining about the AI being a bit ridiculous
Controller support is something I just feel wouldn't work for this game
They would have to put an absolute ton of work to make it functional to play
