CONSTANT STUTTERS

Can someone for the love of God tell me why my FPS is literally the same on both low and high settings and GPU utilization is not even hitting 90% most of the time...

I have 3060 12GB
R5 5600x
32GB 3600 CL16 ram
I run this game off of SSD

Is there something I'm missing?

Both DX11 and DX12 run the same. Dogsh*t performance. Constant stutters.

I have temporary solution: Go to Advanced Video option, Set Frame Limit 30 or 60.
I get rid a lot of THE DAMN STUTTERS for me

Oh my god, I fixed it.

I moved the game from my regular SATA SSD to my M.2, and it just... started working fine?

But talking with others, they have their game on a regular SATA SSD as well with no issues. Thought my drive might be dying, but every other game on it (And most of my games are are on it) works flawlessly without issue.

I don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ know any more, man.

Unreal Engine is an enigma.

Yeah for me moving from NVME to the regular SSD improved it a bit but stutters are still there with poor GPU utilization...

Make sure you are playing on DX12, it dosent fix all the issues, but its a lot better then DX11 right now.
There is some stutters when you start using it, but they go away with just playing the game

a 3060 is a budget card, its not surprising you have stutters

I have a 4090 and I'm stuttering like hell.

mine settles down after 30 seconds but with 40-60fps drops on my 4090

Early access was worse for me.

This aint great but it is definitely more stable than prior. That Adams update prior to 1.0 is where I noticed A LOT of frame issues.

Thank you, I gave up on dx12 too fast at first. The initial stuttering was worse, but once you play through it runs perfectly smooth

There are stutters for me. When I did a complete fresh reinstall the game was running ok. But now it's like there is a memory leak and the stuttering is getting worst. Now it's unplayable. I tried DLSS off/on, All the settings. In fact I play on low with everything turned off and honestly didn't notice a difference, so now I just play on low and all the features disabled. Iv'e tried low latency enabled/disabled. I get about 120 FPS, but moving or even swaying left to right will cause stuttering. Ever since 1.0 released this game has performed like dog crap. Early access performed way better.

The stuttering is not too bad, they are micro stutters, meaning they freeze the frame for just a second, but they happen frequently. Other then that the game runs ok at about 120 fps and some places like 50fps. But if these stutters can go away then the game runs fine.
