Would it have been so hard to make it a simple "Go to the next room. Now equip the optiwand"???
But seeing their track record personally of how they (don't) properly test things, it's no surprise. Trailers won't work properly, replays are borked, MP viewmodels are broken in lobby, AI is cracked beyond belief or any reasonable suspicion of fairness. I was up one night witha dev trying to fix the modio installing to c drive problem. I told them after 4 hotfixes it was still broken and they said it was fixed. Kept proving it was broken. Later on I got a "oops, we were testing in our internal editor build". Not the shipping version the players get. Then they finally pushed a fixed build out. You do NOT playtest an update in your editor, you run the same build the players will get. The shipping build.
