RoN Unavailability Australia [Master Thread]
All Australia related issues will be folded into this thread to avoid thread spam/provide a consistent place of communication.

Ready or Not is currently unavailable on Steam for Australia. What does this mean for Australian players?
You can:
- Play the game online and single player (including outside of OCE).
- Access the Steam Forums, Discord, Reddit, etc.
- (Potentially) Buy DLC content.
- Receive future base game updates.

You cannot:
- Purchase RoN through Steam or use keys.
-- Steam is strict on attempting to bypass region restrictions, please do not attempt to buy keys or change your region, it may result in scams, punishment by Valve, or simply wasting your time and money.

Updates relating to the issue will be posted in this main body. Latest update from the Discord.

There'll be an announcement as soon as something has changed, but we are very much aware and attempting to get the page restored for our users that don't own the game yet or want the DLC.

@News

After a short vacation from the steam store, we're back and ready to welcome more Australian Officers to Los Suenos!

In short, the ACB needed verification of Ready or Nots IARC certifications via our game existing on larger recognized storefronts [PSN, XboX, etc.]. The length of the removal was not in any way punitive and it was not a ban of any sort.

Most I have found is that Devs are aware the game is unavailable, and they will say more when they can.
That's from Discord 5 hours ago.

Kinda strange that only the base game is unlisted, the DLC is still purchasable. Aus seems to be the only region where it is unlisted and there's nothing on the classification website that would indicate it being banned.

Thats really unfurtunned bro, I really dislike that politicians, most of them without any knowleadge of videogames, ban them without any objective reason and only with their subjective opinion

It shouldn't have mattered if they were ready or not

It MAY have been banned for the three levels alone, (think I don't need to explain which ones) someone may have taken it down due to copyright on steam (think the Day Before, although, we all know why it eventually just...disappeared anyway) and, I kind of get why they did ban it if so, but all the same, we have an X18+ rating, the highest level of rating for a game now. And R 18+. This fits in those catagories safely given Wolf Creek (gorey Australian film for the outsiders, not Australian) can fit amongst it too. If they end up removing those levels, yes it'll be a loss, but did we get the game back? I guess we did.

This is also coming from a guy who understands both sides of a two end sword so to speak. As much as he loves gorey and dark stories, I guess no one in Canberra does

unbelievable this is why we have a rating system to begin with i wish the government would stay out of gaming im suprised they find the time outside of robbing the entire country blind and pitting us against eachother (if it is to do with aus gov) but the rating statement still stands, let adults enjoy the fictional media they want to consume, mf's have no problem with the epstien doco being on netflix i dont get it
