You could tape a piece of paper to your wall with a bunch of S's drawn on it, it would mean about as much. If you know you got S-ranks why does it matter if the game remembers?

I've also had the same thing happen, but the truth is nobody cares about the fact that you got an S rank. Also, the game is in early access so I wouldn't bank on maintaining ANY sort of progress as things are often going to reset, and I imagine all progress will be set to zero once the game fully releases.
i know nobody else cares about the fact i got an S rank but its for me to easily track if i take a break, if progress gets reset with an update thats kinda different

Edit an AI Config so it has 0 suspect AI. And join each match, you can get automatic S-Ranks from that. This Guide shows you how to set up a custom AI config, all you need to do is to edit the suspect and civ numbers. However I do think the new update changed the location of where the AI Config is located, so you might have to do some maggickery with QuickBMS to change the location of where it opens.

I dont think it works because when a mod is detected the rank is not recorded.

Thats only if you directly add a file to the main thingy directory. If you directly edit the .pak file using QuickBMS you can avoid it.

I`m not sure, but that would be interesting. I know it keeps the file size the same. Have you tested?

Yes, when I was testing with lower suspect numbers I kept running into a bug where it automatically gave me a permanent S-Rank because the suspect number was too low.

I know you can get the rank, but is it saved? I don`t even have the game installed but from memory, I think it has always shown "modded content" and the rank didn`t save.

Although I am not 100% sure.

I did get it to save without the "modded content" part.

Nice, interesting. I used to run with 0 sus or civs just for benchmarking. Never noticed lol
