Please add sprint.
Please add sprint to the game. I know you don't want to do that but sprint will be very usefull.
With sprint we can fast take cover or run to suspect and punch him. I know we have tazer or gas to nokcout the suspect but it'll give more realism if I can run to suspect and hit him.
Please think about add sprint to the game.
Thx for your time and have a nice day!

Sprint used to be in-game but was removed. I am pretty sure there are no plans to ever bring it back.

Bind "Low Ready" wherever you want sprint to be toggled. It does increase your speed, even if it's just by a little bit. The devs have stated they are open to changing the speed of Low Ready slightly, if they feel it becomes necessary. They need to settle on what the AI will look like before they can fine-tune how fast we're allowed to move, IMO. So speed adjustments will probably come later, not sooner.

Low Ready is too slow for fast take cover or nokcout the suspect.

I've looked for the low ready stats while modding. Can't find it or I would have made a mod just for this turning low ready into a sprint.

There is a button for sprint, it doesn't make you run much faster but it helps a bit, and you don't need mods for it since I've been playing with it since I started this game, the less armor you got the faster you run and more ammo you get

I'm torn, maybe make it an option at least. I've gotten used to the speed of the character but every once in a while I do catch myself trying to L-shift sprint, usually trying to run for cover.

Nah.

Devs have said no already
Sprinting is very much indeed a part of SWAT officer training, but the problem is that it's a game with no fear of death and people would just abuse it rush into places. Basiically, you add unrealistic handicaps to encourage realistic gameplay.

The devs have confirmed a sprint will not be returning to the game. They're happy with the current speed but may tweak low ready in the future to be slightly faster. RoNs formula works better with slower movement, and (gamewise) you should likely be punished for exposing yourself enough that you would need to rely on sprint. Those are my two cents, though.

i mean realism for u seems like a moot point if u want to run up to armed suspects and try to punch them lol.

Re-bind "Low Ready" key. It makes you move faster. If you want to move even faster then change to lighter or no armor.

I laugh at the fact they're against adding sprint, but will create enemies that stare at you through walls and avoid you by continuously running around the map like a headless chicken to avoid arrest. Also, low ready ain't helping ♥♥♥♥.

I suggest you try my movement mod, with a much more realistic speed overhaul for all speeds.
