Game won't start after the latest up9date, even after re-installing

Got an error message saying "corrupted data found, please verify your installation" after the latest update.

Tried re-installing the game, got the same error message again.

Anyone???

Remove all your mods and wait for them to be updated or confirmed safe

Mods are broken due to new DLC/update version of the game, that's why

Important Note: Until mod owners have updated their versions to match the game, if you have mods installed you should select the “launch in safe mode” option for Ready or Not to prevent crashes/conflicts that may occur with outdated mods.

i have the supporter edition i got home invasion free etc but it keeps telling me to buy dark water any idea as to what it may be?

Try restarting your Steam, if it does not appear afterwards, you can contact the developers via the Discord TOC bots.

I'm getting the same message. I've removed all mods, tried running in safe mode, tried clearing all mods/save data and nothing works. Re-downloading the entire game now...

I have also the supporter edition, but I thought we also needed to pay for this DLC?
But when I got in the main menu, I got this message saying Thank you for buying the DLC etc etc.

I had the same problem with the last DLC home invasion, now I didnt get the error. I think it because you have mods. I'm glad it saved my career mode, last time had to redo the whole career.

I got an error too, but I dont have and never use mods, in game it told me to buy the dark waters dlc, which I just did. I rebooted Steam and then it appeared in the DLC installed tab. although i bought it, steam didnt update that I had until after rebooting....

This is caused by
A) Having mods installed that are broken/outdated
B) Deleting files you should not have

lets say you delete a file you shouldnt have does reinstalling the game also reinstall that file, if not how does one get the file back. i dont think i have however ive tried everything else. ive got paks 0-20 no 21 then 22-23 have i stupidly deleted pak 21 by mistake.

I have to update the thread I linked once I get more info, but they added more paks this update. I believe pak 20 and 21 are missing, or something along those lines.

If you believe you are missing files, you can verify the game files in properties, no need to reinstall the whole game

Yeah ive verified my game files and its said all 56201 files are validated so im not sure whats causing it
