I will admit a way to speed it up would be nice, though.
instead i have to: watch the score thing, return to the precinct, go to the map room, select the map, pre-load it, load it and launch.
that gets me pretty heated, especially when i run into some bad luck on a map where i can't take my time, just sitting there watching the game tell me that i died, as if i don't know already.
If those are all restarts, there is forced 10s wait in the van/boat before missions too, bringing it up to almost 6m wasted in 10 mission instead. 6m is the length of some entire missions.
I'm sure VOID is doing just fine, I doubt they need to scavenge that $50 bucks off the few people that just don't like the game.
If you can't spend an extra half minute, than I suspect you don't have enough time to play a full map in most cases anyways.
