co-op campaign?

Looks like multiplayer is kinda just like pick a map and do objectives but with no progress??

No word is there will be a co-op campaign or anything.?

There is no progress in the campaign other then beating a level to play the next. You play whichever level you want, aim for a certain rank, and have fun. That's the game.

single player is just pick a map but in the right order, and cosmetics unlock the same way in multiplayer, you can easily do this kind of campaign in coop right now

The only difference in multiplayer is a lack of bots and the fact that you can select any map you want. There's nothing stopping you from saying "we're going to do these in order and aren't going to move onto the next one until we succeed"

The single player campaign isn't much different. Just slightly limits your choices and has bots that can die.
