Ready or Not

Ready or Not

I really think VOID should update the min and recommended specifications on the store page because they're a tad deceiving as of 2025.

Just benchmarking a for-sale build and it meets the recommended specifications for Ready or Not, but needs FSR 3 to get consistent 60FPS on any of the maps DLC or not.

(Tested resolution was 1080p High)

Full Specs:

- i7-7700K (Not Overclocked) --> (Recommended for Intel is i5-7600K)
- 32GB DDR4-2400MHz RAM --> (Recommended is 8GB)
- Gigabyte Z270N WIFI ITX
- Gigabyte Windforce 2X OC GTX 1060 6GB --> (Recommended is 1060 6GB or better)
- 512GB Micron NVME --> (Recommended does not, but likely implies SSD needed w/ 60GB)
- 450W Fractal Design Integra PSU

Now for some basic responses to expected questions:

1. Yes, the GPU is not being bottlenecked. A 7700K is not bottlenecking a 1060 lmao

2. Yes, GPU utilization is fine. So is power draw.

3. No, the CPU is not overheating and thus throttling. Cooler is a Noctua NH-L9i (Noctua does say mixed opinion on it for the 7700K, but it depends on the overclock. At base it hovers between 60c and 73c inside of a Node 202 ITX Case).

4. Yes, drivers are all up-to-date.

It's just clear to me that Ready or Not has changed a lot since those initial requirements were listed (especially the move to Unreal Engine 5) and they should be updated.

This config is probably gonna get 60FPS consistently at Medium, but if thats the case I don't think the 1060 6GB should continue to be 'Recommended'.

agreed.........
The move to UE5 screwed my performance after owning it since the day it released into early access and now i can play it but im CONSTANTLY trying to tweak and find ways to get better performance cause the fps drops get bad its just frustrating..
7900X CPU, 4080 super gpu. this ♥♥♥♥ stutters wtf
From last I heard, they have already tested the minimum specs and found it performed as expected. I would imagine the recommended specs have applied the same.

Some users have found clearing your cache helps and cures performance by getting rid of old files.

The process is manual, you can go to %localappdata% > Readyornot > Save and copy savegames, put it somewhere safe. Then go back to %localappdata% and delete readyornot.

Check in-game for performance and if your items/saves are missing, install the copy you should've created before.
i got an I5 14400F and an RTX 4060 can barely get 110 fps on high settings like what is this glad its not just for me the game got an severe optimization issue so i heard never thought its this bad

Adding to this, some graphics settings weren't even functional up till Home Invasion/UE5.

People often forget this when comparing performance between builds.

Seen before and already did all of this. It had no noticeable impact.

The game is just no longer in line with its recommended.
