In Single Player, how do you guys compose your teams?
Do you go with the same team for every situation? Or you pick guns and tac aids according to the map? Honestly my main issue with the game is how cumbersome is to change things in the loadouts, I really hope they will rework the loadout menu to make it more easy to change things.

Right now I'm rolling with the following team: 1. Team Lead, use whatever I want
2. Shield Guy, with MP7 AP, Heavy Armor, C4
3. Shotty Guy with RAM, Slugs, also in Heavy, they're the breachers.
4-5. Light Armor with high caliber AR JHP to stop threats and counter flankers. Lots of door wedges.

I always mirror, then if I see armored threats, send the shield and his shotty friend to clear. Otherwise I just roll with the B team.
With this strategy I was able to A rank Relapse.

Also, is there any good guide how could I use my AI teammates better? Some dirty tips and tricks?

I keep the same loadouts for my team for every mission.
Like you said its cumbersome to keep changing everything.
The only thing I change for them now is their clothes, just to look at something different, sometimes their primary weapon.

For the special equipment, I have one with breach shotgun, one mirror, one launcher, and a ram.
I rarely get my guy to use the mirrorgun just for immersion sake.

So you have a slower red team and a faster blue team? Interesting. I never tried that.

Usually I pick a single loadout preset for all team mates based on the mission and then change the tac aids the way I want. I made some preset loadouts for combinations of:
- LL or lethal
- heavy or light armor
- gas or flash grenades
- I also had presets for nightvision, but with the last update these are no longer needed

Also I have some presets for shield carriers, as the shield affects the use of the sidearm too much, but I currently try not using the shield (mostly because there are no LL sidearms).

I run them all with the same guns pretty much, I use the G3A3 rifle for all and right now just a basic glock as a sidearm. For some of them I give more wedges than others, some more flashes etc. If I want to S-rank I'll just give them all beanbag shotguns and remove their sidearm ammo. For gadgets I do breach shotgun, flash and stinger launchers and I mainly use the mirror for myself. Full heavy armor on everyone.

I personally go in first in a lot of situations, and let my AI follow me. Until I get heavily injured, only then I let the AI take over all the doors and such. The AI doesnt know how to flash properly so thats one reason why. Also sometimes theres a hostage and they shoot down the civilian in the process.

Good idea! I will do this now more often (go in first until injured). Honestly I don't care about ranks in maps, I have only the first map S-ed, but will try to do beanbag and gas run if I'm bored.

Yeah just make sure to take it extra slow, you can die real fast if you do a mistake lol

I have 1 team be "Specialists" where one is the main Shield User who brings the Beanbag. The other person has a mainly long range weapon like the SA-58

The other team is pretty flexible but usually carry rifles and additional equipment like more Flashes

I usually give the blue team more less lethal options, with one of them having a pepper ball gun and as a secondary USP 45, along with more tear gas equipment and the red team is more assault with heavier armor, more breaching charges (still using gas as less lethal). Other than the pepperball, I usually have one man on each team with a MK18 and the other with an MP5. I have everyone on deck wearing gas masks all the time.

Red 1: Shield, couple of mags with P90/MP7, many mags for a pistol, lots of wedges. Heavy ceramic armor with full coverage.
Red 2: AR rifle, 4 primary mags, 3 secondary mags, breach shotgun, a stinger and lots of flashbangs. Light ceramic armor.
Blue 1: AR rifle, 4 primary mags, 3 secondary mags, flashbang launcher, stinger, couple of flashbangs, wedge. Light ceramic armor.
Blue 2: 7.62 rifle, 5 primary mags, 3 secondary mags, ram, 2xC2, flashbangs, wedge. Light ceramic armor.

Everyone has nods. If necessary, I'll equip them with IR or flashlights, depending on mission. JHP for soft targets, and I'll run a shotgun or SMG, AP for hard targets with a rifle. I tend not to touch the guns too much on the team though.

I generally run 4-5 primary mags, AR style rifle, 3 mag secondary, wand, light ceramic armor, and as many flashbangs as I can carry.

The idea behind this is that if anyone goes down, I have "some" backups. Shield always breaches. Both teams have ways to stunlock and breach doors. Plenty of ammo. This is my primary go-to team, and also great for splitting teams and clearing multiple rooms at once. Everyone is slightly specialized, but not insofar as they cripple the team if I lose them. With about 1,000 hours in the game, this is I feel the most balanced but also OP team, and I've managed to run this exact team on every mission successfully.

2 Armorers. Full armor, ceramic. Ballistic mask. 500 flashbangs. Team gets any old automatic rifle, and I take the M14. Two teams clear different rooms separately, unless it's outdoors, or 'Greased Palms' :barotrauma:
