*MAJOR Spoilers* Is 'Hide and Seek" really the last mission?
Just got this game and it's really cool and tense. The Atmosphere, the uncertainty, and the sudden gunfights make this game stressful in a good way. After playing the campaign, I finally get to the dockyards. The maze like docks and more open areas go together like cheese and macaroni.

Then I find that one container...

Somehow, that scene alone disturbed me more then anything this game threw at. More then the child p**n, more then the school shooting, and more then the piles of bodies in the dance club. On top of that, the warehouse has a hidden human auction for orgy mask wearing elites in the most sickening way. Only the most sadistic, psychotic, and evil individuals will see no problems with this. On top of that! We get told to close the container and our character shows the only emotion in the whole game. And once the mission is complete, I get thrown back to the precinct like nothing happened. Leaving me to discover that was the last mission and me going "That's IT!?"

Is there something I'm missing or is that seriously the end? Do any of the DLCs go further into this, Or did the Devs seriously put this striking moment at the end of the game with no closure what so ever.

That's kind of it. The DLCs are separate.

I think it's fine. You get a glimpse at the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up things that happen daily in and around LS, but you often won't get to see the entire picture because at the end of the day, you're just another cop, not the main character of a story.

i was thinking the same thing. But after reading the other reply i think there is no more :(

I suspect, especially with the latest DLC Darkwaters, we’re going to get more international and/or get more involved in things regarding the federal agencies. I doubt we’ve seen the final outcome of what happened at the docks.

I finished the campaign today and it left me with an anticlimactic feeling. We know the game is not big in narrative, but I definitely missed something more in that last mission, something that looks like an "end". For a moment I though I was going to unlock some "secret extra mission finale". But not.

for me it's not even a story mode, it's some lore with Missions

It's the end. It echos real life scenarios where police get too close to discovering something too big (federal involvement in sex trafficking, etc) and the feds take it over and shut it down and either the cops walk away or wind up dead.
Yep, that's it. But uncovering more of the lore by collecting evidences, connecting different missions together, and exploring the subtle and morbid details in the maps can be really cool too.
Tip: most missions aren't in a cronological order. Take a good look at the conspiracy board at Carriers of the Vine, and you'll see what I mean.
