Which LS is based on LA so... technically possible... It's stated to only be used in extreme terrorist scenarios but we have faced Terrorists in a Hospital and Nightclub so...
It sounds plausible, and I’ve read the DEA is considering it. But you might have mistaken me for someone who cares about that level of "authenticity". I don’t and don`t see any sense in those who do. I am also not SWAT, pretending to be SWAT, nor want to be one. I'm just here to have fun. If we could have terrorist weapons (PDK, M249s, UZIs etc) and play on their side I would.
A more valid argument would be if the proposed advantages of the .277 Fury round can really shine in the rather CQB/Mout environment of RoN i. e. if it really adds anything that the 5.56 or .300BO can´t offer.
I doubt this is really a thing for the devs.
The HK51 is a true meme weapon in reality and was abandoned after brief usage by the SAS/SBS and was never seen again in professional use. One day adding the HK51B or HK21K Shorty for the lols? https://ibb.co/t3F6GT3
I doubt that the Raider X P320 kit and similar will ever see much professional use either, it is gimmicks for tacticool cheapskating. Agencies and units that look for a micro-PDW/sub-compact procure something like the APC9K or stick with proven systems such as MP-5K/7/9.
I mean, they’ve used that excuse here multiple times before: only weapons adopted by law enforcement agencies in the U.S. There was even a whole thread about some LE agency using AKs to justify their inclusion in the game. I know it doesn’t make any sense, and again, I don’t care if they introduce Star Trek phasers—the more, the merrier. I will always miss the UZI, PKM, and M249 they "removed."
You likely heard of the the weapon unlocker mod which adds many of them back, including AKs in 5,45, 5,56 and Alaska´s anti-moose fav 7,62x39.

Waiting for the Dark Waters update.
Yes, sadly, all unlockers (sniper or not, suspect arsenal, inaccessible weapons unlockers, etc.) appear outdated or have issues with some of the more fun weapons. Especially if playing multiplayer.
I think some of the guns that could be unlocked pre-release are gone. Auto-downloading mods in multiplayer, like Arma, would help. Especially modded maps.
So... WHY NOT 12.7 WHILE WE'RE AT IT? Why not wallbang 10 houses instead of just 2?! Since when do suspects use armored cars?! No law enforcement uses .277 Fury.
k. Think my job here is done.
Yeah, why not? Please do tell us. Ultimately, you're the one choosing the weapons you use in the game. A more appropriate way to manage gameplay would be to provide hosts with greater control, allowing them to select the types of suspects, weapons involved, and difficulty levels etc. But I suppose that would be asking too much, wouldn’t it?
However I do have to agree though a lot of people in Quickplay are very shoot happy. I remember when the slow surrender animation first came out and as soon as people saw 2 hands on the gun, despite it being sideways, would dump rounds into the guy and be surprised when it was against ROE. They would have both hands on the gun for not even half a second before they would get Domed
