Dorms is bugged
I've ran Dorms with a friend now 3 times trying to get an S rank.
We cannnot for the love of god find all the evidence even with WEAPON HIGHLIGHT ON and multiple sweeps on ALL rooms on the map.
Making sure to look around after every arrest for more than one weapon dropped.

There is always 2+ evidence missing and I absolutely refuse to believe were missing them after 3 runs.

We've been running it too trying to get S. Every single time 3 suspects don't have a gun when we arrest them. They show as a suspect when we arrest them but they never drop anything.

There is a way to farm points via fake surrendering and them attacking you and dropping an additional gun, aka more points, that way, you can kill someone and still get an S rank. Since it is entirely point based, just farm enough points.

YESSSSS THIS HAPPENED TO ME TOO. I THOUGHT THAT ONLY HAPPENED FOR ME. I CAN'T FIND EVIDENCE ANYWAY SO DAMN PISSED.

Bump.

At the end of 2024, my friends and I managed to get an S rank on every map in the base game relatively painlessly. We then decided to start playing the DLC maps in 2025.

Today, one of those friends and I booted up Dorms for the first time and spent nearly 2 hours suffering through the same crap OP described. We got robbed of an S rank at least 3 times, with the game claiming that we missed 1, 3, and 4 evidence on separate occasions, in spite of us triple checking every person and every room for anything we might have missed.

We finally decided to rage quit after the game decided it would bug out not only on the evidence, but on a main objective as well, forcing the last civilian to get stuck in one of the wall openings, unable to be interacted with.

I had never experienced so many bugs on a single map in the game before, and I am terrified of what BS the other DLC maps have in store for us. My friends and I are capable of sweeping huge maps such as the port and the hospital to secure any remaining evidence, but on this map it just disappears, or never appears to begin with...

It is worth noting that the only map in the base game where we faced similar difficulties was Twisted Nerve, which has crackhead-like enemies similar to those of Dorms. That was the only other map on which I remember us triple checking everything (but in a party of FOUR players) and still "missing" evidence. Thankfully, that only happened once on Twisted Nerve.

We definitely have our suspicions about the few individuals present on both maps who don't drop weapons but still register as suspects, something described in the first reply to this thread.

Well, after reading more comments from other threads, I decided to follow one's advice and load into a solo game with SWAT AI and have them sweep the map after completing the main objectives, aaannndddd...

I got S rank on my very first attempt.

I kept an eye on the pop-ups in the bottom of the screen and noticed that the SWAT AI was able to spot and secure 2 knives which hadn't dropped on my screen.

Screw this map.
A while ago, in Narcos, the gun a suspect dropped clipped through the floor with the highlight literally showing where it is lmao. I couldn't pick it up and the match ended with one missing evidence
Lots of enemies across lots of maps have this problem. They're holding a gun, usually a pistol but not always, then they surrender or whatever and suddenly the gun is long gone, never to be seen again.

This is why I like having my whole AI team search the whole map after completing the main objectives. They'll always know where the missing dropped weapons are.
Mmm, noticed this a few times too. Guns clipping underneath ground objects like large
wooden boards, trash piles etc as well.

For some reason "lethal obsession" has become unplayable for me recently.
roughly 90% of attempts start with being lasered in a single mag from the balcony, like the second I get character control.

Happened to us aswell but in the map with all the meth heads during a night raid. we played 3 times and 3 times we couldn't get an S due to lack of evidence. always 3 or 4 guns missing. we have no idea why.
Known bug caused by knives in suspects loadout, they currently only on twisted nerve and dorms. If knive drops from suspect pocket after you arrest him, it's will be invisible and player wont be able to secure it, so you either need swat ai or a mod to disable score for evidence
Same here, we've tried 5 times and couldn't find the missing evidence. I think it's the knives that are bugged because, while the game was running, i was looking on reddit for help and my friend told me the notification for a knife being found appeared, he didn't do it, neither did i, it probably glitched
SO, some friends and I had this issue and I found a way to get this S on Multiplayer. A lot of the NPCs on this map seem to have ghost guns or hidden knives that they won't pull out if you preemptively make them surrender or disarmed like with gas grenades. So all we use was a Bean Bag Shotgun only, do not use any gas or peperballs. Arrest only Civilians at first, when you come suspects use the bean bags to have them surrender down on their knees and then secure the weapon they drop. You can also disarm the weapon on their hip by tapping the restraint button to start the animation but then spam the back up key and DO NO FULLY ARREST THE SUSPECT (Some suspect don't appear to have a weapon at first, these people usually have the ghost gun or knife, but some people with guns when the gun is secured will then pull out a knife after they get back up and attempt to attack you). If you leave the suspect they will eventually get back up and if they have another ghost gun or knife they will then pull it when they try to attack you. Subdue them again but DO NOT FULLY ARREST THEM AGAIN. I had one guy in the run we got an S pull out 2 knives. Finish the level as normal then after you got everyone to drop their guns and you finish sweeping and map and no one pulls any new ghost guns or knives on you, fully arrest every suspect and enjoy the S rank. Also, don't forget the soft objective on the Lecture on the the second floor in the room with all the drawings on the walls and stuff, and it helps to have the weapons highlight in the options menu turned on to locate weapons.

Hope this helps someone that struggled as much as me and my friends did before i just had the idea to allow suspect to pull more weapons on us if they had them.
