How to beat Elephant?
No joke spent a day trying to crack this nut but no matter how fast i move at least one civilian gets killed. Is there even a way to beat this anymore without extreme luck? Playing singleplayer btw.

In SP it's much harder since in MP players can just split and rush with launchers so it's an easy S rank. But in SP you have to be really lucky with spawns and where you go.

have one team positioned in the middle so that they can stop any suspects from traveling this will force them to hunker down then go around with the other team and clear everything but do it fast. (i only sp not talking about multiplayer)

yes it is difficult, I also play only SP and struggled with it for a couple of hours, you have to go without armor for speed, and do a total rush on everything, otherwise there is almost no way

It's always RNG but you can increase your chances of beating it by following mass shooter response protocols instead of treating it like a barricaded suspect (unless evidence indicates otherwise). Don't bother clearing every room. If the door is locked, and you don't hear anything going on in there (like a suspect threatening someone) it's probably just students who locked themselves in. I use the side entrance and used a device before going up the stairs because there was often a suspect there. Shooting the suspects is faster than trying to get compliance (S rank, different mess). Priority is to get to the suspects- ignore everything else until you get the "order to chaos" notification.

One of the best things you can do for Elephant (from my experience given I've gotten S after trial and error), is to stealth it. Don't go for the bombs first - you have enough time. What's ticking isn't the bombs, it's the suspects. If you start yelling / kicking down doors / using firearms without a suppressor - they'll shoot the hostages and there goes your S Rank. Just be stealthy but be quick. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast

Unless they changed it, armor does not affect your speed it just affects your acceleration. You can go just as fast with heavy armor as no armor but it will take an extra second to speed up.

play with at least 2 other friends. Have everyone run Kevlar heavy armor, breach shotgun and P90 with AP rounds. Each of you chose an entrance to go to. Spread out and clear all the rooms. Spray the shooters, use breach shotgun to get through a locked door fast. Spend no time cuffing any civilians you find until all suspects are down. They start killing civilians after 2 minutes so be fast. It will take a few attempts, but its effective.

Took me 3 tries to get S rank when I went for it. Learn the map, move quickly to the suspect locations they are always in the same area. It is easy map.

A bit of luck but you have to keep moving and not bother with civilians until the shooters are dealt with, then deal with the bombs before getting to the civies.
I go with the first entry option.
Enter thru the left red door and get off at the first floor.
Head to the cafeteria area and go up the stairs, so you can check the library entrance (shooter may be behind the door) and upper level of the lecture hall.
From there I rush to the green doors and check the rooms there, sometimes encountering a shooter at the stairs on the way to the blue area.
