Arresting Suspects

Is there any point in trying to tell armed suspects to get on the ground? Like seriously, I've tried every way; Surprising them from behind, Kicking in the door and surprising them, flashing them. I'd say only about 1/15 times does any of those methods work, the rest of the time they'll just whip out their guns, ignore all my partners and shoot me in the face so that I have to restart a 15 minute run.

Yeah the missions that require 2+ arrests are so frustrating cause they almost never seem to work

If you're having trouble with them shooting you or running away in 12 different rooms, Just use a taser or a beanbag shotgun. But most of the time when i just shoot them and move on because i don't feel like chasing after them

most the time, if they have a weapon they refuse to drop for more than about a second, i put them down and no points are lost and my team and i remain breathing.

they work for me pretty well. my friend and i got pretty good at it. sometimes it is frustrating though, i agree

You have to take non-lethal routes to get them to surrender. Throw a flash bang/stinger, catch them from behind, or melee them and they are more likely to comply.

my friend charged a shooting suspect yesterday (somehow he made it without being hit) and proceeded to melee the living ♥♥♥♥ out of the guy twice in a row and the guy dropped his piece and surrendered lol. it was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome

It depends on their morale, aim is to break that. Are they just thugs, mafia or terrorists?
