Yeah had the same. Could lower it a bit by limiting fps to 120. Could also lower some settings. Odd atm, but I hope it's going to change in the future.

What are your specs? mine is asus b550-e with a ryzen 9 3900x, evga RTX 2080 TI FTW, 64 gb DDR4 3200

Not at the PC atm, just bought it. Got a Ryzen 5800
RTX 3080
32GB Ram

I have high temps too. Ryzen 5900x with a WC. Running the game on 1440p, max settings. CPU doesn't get over 20% utilization.

Its odd that this isnt being talked about more. I wonder what people are doing with crap cooling are doing. Im on liquid cooling with the fans at 2000+ rpm and still close to 80 degrees.

Probably because most people doesn't monitor stuff. I am getting up to 87C on the splash screen. In-game, up to 85C. My WC is a Corsair H115i Platinum. Playing BF2042 I get up to 78C - which is a poorly optimized game, uses 30% of my CPU sometimes.

Just tested, can't confirm any problems.
CPU is between 65 and 70, GPU is chilling hard at 43°C. Ambient is 20.
i7 7700k running OC @ 4.9Ghz and RTX 2080 Ti running OC @ 2100/7700. My GPU actually didn't even start working, it remained idle at max 1350Mhz all the time

Max settings, 120FPS cap, 1440p

I just noticed that my cpu was 86c at 18%. ryzen 5900x/3080. wtf is up with that. and I have great cooling as well.

Same, 3900x with water cooling. 80+ under quater load. Makes no sense. GPU under the same heat from it as well.

ambient temp is 29c, Max CPU temp for me is 76c, max GPU temp is 60c (hotspot 77c), and RAM temp is around 43c with max settings FullHD (resolution scale 150%).
My specs: 5800X, 32gb 3600 CL14, ROG 6800XT LC OC.

As suggested before, by Company of Zeroes, try limiting frames. I set mine to 90 and the CPU temperature dropped to max 79/80C. Still, quite hot, but 10C away from the limit of my 5900x.

Did you adjust video settings from suggested?
Maybe clean your vents and fans or upgrade your cooling components

Same here, just finished playing. Ambient 26 celsius. 7700K @ 5GHz (game utilizes around 50-70% constantly I think), 65-70c, cores peaked 75-78 in the 3 hour span, using Corsair 240mm aio. GPU is 3070 and clocked max temps of 60c with +1200 on memory and undervolted to 0.950mV @ 1950MHz. Don't think other specs matter, but game is running from nvme ssd and 32gb of 3600MHz DDR4.

Edit: Running game at 144 FPS 1440p, mostly max settings sans team camera at 30Hz.

From the comments, seems like everyone with hight temps has ryzen.

"load" isnt "load"
a 3900x has 12 cores pretty sure the game at most uses 8 cores that´s why u see low general utilization.
if you look at utilization at a per core basis that will probably show you that only 4-8 cores are used.
wich doesn´t mean that your cpu isn´t already maxed out in a other way the general utilization window does not show you.
and keep in mind the game is early access so there are a lot of optimizations to come with patches.
