Low-ready is good enough for me as far as moving around.
But yes, you are right. That was one of the things I'd kinda expect from the game by default.
Now that it's supposedly out of early access, and still such a lot of pretty basic stuff is missing / left unfixed, I kinda gave up on it. Shame, coulda been a brilliant game.
toggle run. thats what i do problem solved. full running in this would be silly. if you ever are running in CQB you all types of F'd up lol
When you start a mission, you toggle your Nightvision if you have it. You toggle your flashlight.
Why would you have walk toggled in default ? I mean ... you maybe want to walk quicker when you start, to be able to get closer to the fighting area. So, after that, you can toggle to walk when you are on site.
There is a toggle walk option already and even a toggle run available ! You ask too much, i think. Just toggle the damn button when the mission is starting and you are done.
Not toggling in a FPS (but just pushing) is a bad idea in the first place.
Lol right ??
If toggle worked for us, we'd not ask for a hold key. Whether it's a bad idea or not is for us to decide.
We already have hold to walk, even hold to aim is default. Hold to run is not too much to ask really.
Speaking of flashlight... I'd like a hold button for it, too. I'd also like the option for low ready to be the default stance which you spawn with.
bro you make no sense im sorry. you don't have to hold to walk. you can toggle to walk. it quite simple I am not sure what is so strenuous here? also you can edit you weapon ready in options. worst case tap a toggle key for it in the beginning. not being an ass but this seems a mix of you not aware of option in menu and also being very petty.
Players don't have to hold shift when running to fire in other games. Making the player hold shift to walk defeats the point of trying to focus on moving slower with less juggling. Having to hold shift is giving the player another chore to focus on. Which is the reverse of what happen when actually slowing down to aim and carefully check corners in reality.
