What is the order of missions?
Hey, just wondering if it's coming later down the road or not being put in at all... but is there supposed to be an order to all the missions? Doing coop with some friends and it kind of just seems like theres no progression/story or flow to the game. Just pick a scenerio and go.

I've been a seeing a lot of other games do a style similar to this but it I feel like it strips away some of the fun and structure that would allow the content to be enjoyed for a longer period of time. If the game forced you (based of difficulty or something) to reach a certain grade on the mission to then unlock the next one there would be somewhat of a purpose to moving through all the missions.

I realize I can artificially do this myself, but it's just not the same. Curious to hear everyone's thoughts and if the devs have talked about having any structure to progressing through the missions.

I think you are misreading my question/comment. I'm not interested in a progression system like player level ranking or equipment style unlock. I mean like a progression to the story of the game... the missions.
There's not really a campaign or defined order per say, but if we're talking difficulty, I'd say:

-Fast Food (Although as of right now it is supposed to be the follow up to 213 Park)
-4U Gas Station
-Agency (WIP)
-213 Park
-Brisa Cove
-Farm (In bit of an awkward spot. Used to be really hard but has been toned down. I imagine this will be harder down the road)
-Car Dealership/Port Hokan (Chronologically I believe Car Dealership is first, but both are similar difficulty wise)
-Valley of the Dolls (A follow up to Agency)
-Hotel
-Club Neon
-Hospital (Work in progress and a follow up to Club Neon)

Whilst this isn't 100% chronological, I'd assume the campaign would have a similar structure (The only level that'd be out of order would be Fast Food).

Then again, this doesn't take into consideration modes. I'd say that the Port Hokan, 213 Park, and Hotel Raid are pretty hard and can go on for a fair while (Easily 20-30 minutes which is a long time in a game where one mistake can cost you everything.
Yes there is an order but we don't know yet, everything is redacted until released to avoid spoiler.

Some of them are linked with environmental story telling, like Port Hoken and Valley of dolls both mission are about human trafficking .

Neon night club and Hospital (new map) are linked too.

We can assume gas station will be one of the first map, that's all we know
In some of the Short Briefings (Mission Maps) you can see to which mission your current selected one relates. In example, Fast Food seems to be following Mission to Twisted Nerves.
And Hospital is the Mission after the Club Event.

It looks like there are several storylines. The Meth one (Twisted Nerve, Fast Food...), a Human Trafficing one (Buy Cheap buy Twice, Port Hokan), the Terrorist one (Neon Tomb, Hospital), the political ones (Brisa Cova)...
