I just don't know if they have the effect that they're stated to have.
For example there is 2 muzzle brakes in the game, first one reduces vertical recoil and the second one hides muzzle flash and reduces vertical recoil (called SFMB, dont remember what the first one called). So — i dont remember about muzzle flash hiding, but last time i checked, the second one, SFMB, reduces vertical recoil better than the first one, the the first one is just useless compared to SFMB.
You can just go test it yourself on some wall in the lobby — find an angle that is easy to 100% repeat staying in, line up the sight with some orientier that you can remember, then just hold automatic fire and let it go up by itself. First test it with first muzzle brake, remember where the recoil stopped and where your sight were looking, do it a couple of times to be sure you remembered where it stopped and tested it properly. Then repeat the test in the same spot looking at the same angle with second muzzle brake and see if in the end it will go higher or lower. Last time i checked SFMB was lower.
Vertical grip is usually the best for reducing vertical recoil as well for most of the guns.
The difference in "accuracy" i never noticed, all guns seem to be always accurate, not counting weird sight and muzzle behavior.
The ADS speed you dont really need as its usually better to ADS Before you clear an angle or watch it. But it increases just a bit with angled grip.
The combat grip im not sure what does, didnt really notice anything when playing, again you can test it all yourself.
Suppressor lowers the recoil just a bit and makes the gun a bit longer — thats pretty much all it does i think.
Flashlight is pretty good and sometimes suspects give away their position screaming when they see it (not sure if it has any downsides in the game, never felt like it), but depending on which side of the barrel you put the flashlight on it might make it difficult to slowly peek dark corner with the opposite shoulder (a good portion of a corner is gonna be dark while youre already exposed), and the closer to angle you are the worse this effect is. Some guns have 2 different flashlights, i think the only difference is their position on the barrel.
Laser pointer is very good for aiming if using canted sight posture, suspects cannot see it
IR laser is basically just laser pointer but you can see it only in night vision and it has cool visible line.
The sight you wanna use depends completely on what you like. My personal sight ranking:
1. The best — SRO dot
2. RMR dot
3. Using laser with canted sight posture
4. Eotech Holo or 1-4x scope
5. SRS
6. M5B or T2
7. 1-12x scope (i think its almost useless)
In conclusion i would say that right attachment build can make your game much more easier and comfortable but current suspect AI with no mods is pretty easy already, therefore you might not notice any difference in attachments until you play on some really hard AI where you have to see and neutralize targets as fast as possible.
The only thing that you need to know about is that ADS speed on grips dont work at all, only optics affect it
Combat grip do nothing on all rifles as they dont have any horizontal recoil, only vertical, accuracy stat on this grip also do nothing since all ammo, except buckshot, have 0 spread
please??? :(
PLEASE!!!!!!!
There was this Delta Force alpha test game that I took part in and they did a really good job of doing this. They had an entire chart showing what every recoil pattern is doing, how it's effecting your recoil, which settings it will be affecting, etc, with the attachments that you put on and I think every FPS shooter should do this because it's very useful data to have that saves people hours and hours of testing. Perhaps void won't want to be that indepth, but if you put an attachment on you'll need to test every fire rate mode to see if it only works for one setting.
I know Void has a lot of stuff in this game that doesn't work properly or isn't accurate anymore tho. At one point some stuff that doesn't work properly use to be fine, but then they release an update and it's broke, and it won't be fixed until they decide to release another update to the game whenever they feel like it.
i could really use that 35% ADS speed increase.
also, what does deadzone change mean?
Deadzone is how far weapon will be off centered while you moving, It's noticeable with really high values
Are you completely certain that has no effect?
