Ready or Not - DX11 or DX12?

I'm in the process of downloading now and currently have a 1080Ti.

Would DX11 have better performance than DX12 in this game?

DX11 would probably be better since your GPU is older. DX11 doesn't PSO cache, so you may stutter while you play. DX12 has PSO caching, but that isn't available to older GPUs, but I do not know if your 1080ti would be that old. However I do expect that the loading times would be painful.

There's no way of knowing aside from trying both, maybe with an FPS monitor to see the average and 1% low FPS.

DX12 has shown to have a slight advantage on modern hardware.
