A+ scores has been more consistent than before, less injuries, less kills in overall.
But only play multiplayer, I don't know about the AI squad.
Be aware that suspects have idle (patrolling) and alerted states which automatically increases the values of accuracy, range of sight and different type of parameters which are triggered by the beam of flashlights on a wall, any kind of sounds makes them alerted from many meters away which is a big disadvantage from the player perspective, they can see through small cracks and holes.
Still it is an area of improvement, though.
It does not make sense a crackhead reacts similarly as a veteran, both have different values but still not much of a difference.
Unload a magazine in someones general direction and your first impulse would be to take cover... not rush the enemy through a doorway
I guess in the end its a game, and you have to make some concessions to realism to balance out the fact that its virtually impossible to code AI behaviour to be both fair and on-par with players
But man is it ever annoying...
In RoN its always best to take it safe. Use flashbangs for quick and safe take-downs at aggro'd enemies around corners, in doorways, bunched up in a room, or with hostages. If you want even longer and safer take-down windows, use gas for rooms full of suspects. At far ranges or in complex and dangerous CQB, take a launcher to instantly stun with flashbangs on impact. Instead of walking into the room with countless vantage points, try backtracking the long way around and go for routes with safe and easy engagements.
Beyond simple misunderstandings of the AI and/or a tactics issue, then I'm afraid the only explanation is the classic, "skill issue."
another issue i've noticed within the last few patches is that enemies often refuse to surrender or even get stunned by flashbangs, stingers, and i've had multiple suspects under gas who just still refuse to surrender no matter how many times i've rammed them with my rifle barrel, until my idiotic teammates decide to shoot them dead right in front of me.
