That's personally what I done originally, black for blue, tan / olive for red. That said, I have everyone wearing tan camo / BORTAC uniforms right now so the way I distinguish who is who is by their weapons and equipment: Red is my breachers so they are packing shotguns and PDWs with a battering ram and breaching shotgun on their backs. Blue is my mid-long range operators so rifles and carbines are their mainstay with gas launchers as their equipment.
So in short: you can also give your teams "roles" in your squad if you want to distinguish Red from Blue and keep the uniformity of their appearance intact.
The player nametags are too small for my boomer vision (not joking)

There's actually blue uniforms if you unlock the final outfits.
i do same as yours but the main distinguishing factor is the blue team are the gas mask people. They hold all the gas launcher and nades. Red team is the flash-and-sting people.
