has there ever been discussion of bringing back the map selection and mode selection before game was out of early access?

a lot wrote about this when the game came out of early access.

devs have there been any discussions about revisiting this? thats the biggest gripe i have with the current version. took a lot of the replayability and variety out of it

As ARUG said it is a very big ask, esp' given the new AI behaviors and sound system generating a lot more steps to the map making process.

However, there has been internal discussion both for and against adding the feature back in. That being said, this is something that will be addressed in a much more formal matter in a future Newsletter or even AMA.

Agree with this. Personally not heard of them returning those features.

Nope. Not a peep.

Burning down every good idea they've ever had seems to be VOID's MO so I'm honestly not expecting VOID to bring back any of the game modes.

I was surprised they even attempted it! 5 different scenarios for every map is a very big ask for a small dev team

If anyone else was just waiting until they added it back as well, they have a mod called 'In Game Menu' on Nexus that lets you pick your level and game mode plus some other stuff.

I know some guys aren't mod savvy so it's a little beat you have to go out of your way to literally pick a level but it's drag and drop and it works pretty well most of the time I think.
Obviously not as good as the old HQ but we take what we can get.

Seems playing your games how you want is a thing of the past lmao

Edit: works with other most other mods as well if you already have some

I can’t believe how much revenue this game generated that didn’t go back into the game. Gotta invest in other game companies with the money and early retire tho, understandable.
