For RoN FPS shouldn't matter to much. The game is a slow tactical shooter, you should go for quality of the game over FPS. DX12 is overall better for quality and performance.

Doesn't matter so much - then you have 30-40 fps instead stable 60-70 at the shooter. Lollmao man you're so sigma-male scientist yo:captainclown:

DX12 = Latest API for modern systems and gives higher overall fps, particularly on gpus with asynchronous compute support, but introduces severe shader stutters. They are alleviated by playing. It's because the game lacks a shader & PSO cache system. It will be patched in a future update.

DX11 = Older API with more driver-level support. It gives lower fps overall, but has less stutters. It has inconsistent frametimes on certain maps, so expect random framedrops aswell.

Play DX12 for highest fps, but be ready for shader stutters in the beginning on maps. Play DX11 with lower fps, but little stutters in the beginning. Once they patch PSO caching, then DX12 will be the superior API to use for most users.
