Only 18 missions?

Hi guys, I want to buy this game but searching on google it says that there are only 18 missions and the game is really expensive. If I play one mission per day in 1 month it would be over... probably...
Are they going to add more missions? Is it worth the price?

There will be more levels added as paid DLC. There's also the possibility that they'll re-add game modes they removed, but I feel that possibility is very small.

You'll probably have to replay a few levels, especially if you're new to the genre. I can imagine average players getting stuck on some of the harder levels. There's also trying to S-rank most maps but IMO that's a miserable experience.

That being said, even ignoring the amount of content there's a lot wrong with the game right now, some of which has been issues for over 2 years at this point. I'd recommend no matter what you decide to wait for at least one major patch before buying.

SWAT 4 had an average retail price of $48 and it only had 13 levels.

This game is only a few dollars extra and has 5 levels more.

Don't worry it's definitely worth it! I have 24+hr of gameplay and have completed 10 or 12 missions. There is a lot of replayability in the missions too because you don't know where the AI will be or what they will do. It's not like CoD or other shooters where the enemies spawn in the same place every time. Plus there is co-op to play through.

Do not buy this game at full price (or atleast dont play more than 2 hours for a valid refund). The game is still very buggy and the "replayability" gets really old once you learn the map. Achievement hunting for content was absolutely miserable but its okish with friends. Multiplayer is dead though and you might run into a Christian priest in there.

Don't count the levels, count the rooms for each of the levels because they are are filled to the brim with detail and enemies for you to fight, i have this problem where i can't stop playing my favorite map because it doesn't really grow old for me as of yet.

Maps are still extremely detailed.

The maps themselves are fine, it's just the AI and stuff that needs some work.

Considering how unforgiving these missions can get, 18 is a lot more than you think.

I like maps btw, how they tell story you, it is really interesting to investigate maps, looking for lore pieces, reading mails on PCs, sticky notes, photos. Nice.

wow, so few, but I remember at that time that in order to install Mafia 1 I needed 3 dvd, maybe they didn't want to make a game too big. Not a problem in the current era.

Plus SWAT 4 had things like the Quick Mission Generator and a fleshed out PvP.

That's kinda like saying that Demon's Souls was small because it only had 5 worlds and Turok DH had 8.

If the price is too much, it's too much regardless of the amount of content. Give it some time, let it come down. Hopefully many of the issues will get patched out, most of them are already modded out, but can be glitchy.
